Sexism In Politics
It's a tale as old as time. Woman has to jump through hoops and look impeccable while doing so while a man can just stand there and still be considered more qualified than her just because she's a woman. It's election season and you know what that means: Mud slinging and public outcry from all sides. Now, I'm not going to be talking about my own political views here. That's not what this is about. But anyone who spends any amount of time on this blog can pretty much tell where I stand on the political spectrum. It's not hard to see. No, the thing that I want to talk about is gender equality and the rampant sexism that we're seeing in this election. It's so blatant that there's no way anyone could pretend not to see it. Hillary Clinton is more than qualified to run for president. Hell, she's probably one of the most qualified nominees we've ever seen. But that doesn't matter, right?
